Destinations email series to provide loyalty program members with inspiring travel ideas. The
monthly emails tempt travel enthusiasts with vibrant photography and articles highlighting potential trips, events, and destinations to encourage members to satisfy their wanderlust. A key
challenge is combining interesting travel content
with personalized touches within each email.
RESULTS: Marriott charmed their consumers
with this “Rediscover the Railroad” email. An interactive carousel showcased train trips in four
exciting locations and a personalized section
with dynamic content and trip planning advice
for upcoming trips booked through Marriott.
The email garnered nearly double the click-to-open rate compared to the 12-month average
for the series, and generated bookings per thousand that were 50% higher than the 12-month
